When printing the documents in ZAC 103, 104B or 203, you can print multiple pages per page on the printer. In Word, Click File on the tool bar, click Print. On the Print box, click Properties and click one of the options of how you want it printed: 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, etc. (similar to PowerPoint). Saves tons of paper and space in your notebook. IF WORD DISPLAYS THE MACRO VIRUS WARNING WHEN OPENING A DOCUMENT, CLICK "DISABLE MACROS" BEFORE OPENING.  This is due to a macro included by MS Word, NOT a virus.

A ton of other fun software (primarily for ENGR 214) may be found at /Engr214 .  But a lot of stuff for ENGR 211 may also be found there.  Click on the ENGR 211 link, then click on "Design Your Own Truss."  This program is web-based and allows you to analyze any statically determinate two-dimensional truss to obtain the member forces.

Some Neat Links

[How Stuff Works fanbutton] Contains a series of articles written by by Marshall Brain, BYG Publishing, Inc., describing how machinery, engines, electrical and electronic devices, household stuff, etc. work. Written in layman's terms, but very informative; and some of the graphics is very nice.
